Explore the vegan lifestyle in Albany with the tasty burgers being served at this fast casual eatery!
Last month, Wizard Burger, a vegan fast food spot, launched in Albany, NY inside The Kenmore building. The eatery is open Wednesday through Saturday 5-9:30pm and offers pickup and delivery only.
The menu features items like the Orc Popper (pretzel bun, Impossible patty, cream cheese, American cheese, pickled jalapeño, beer-battered onion rings, and Melba sauce), The Impossible Strawberry Snail (Impossible patty, raspberry jelly, and Sunbutter on a glazed donut), and the loaded Chili Cheese Burger (house chili, American cheese, onion rings, tots, Impossible patty, jalapeños, and garlic crema on a potato bun). In addition to burgers, the all-vegan eatery serves fish sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, tots, fried pickles, and balls of chocolate chip cookie dough for dessert.
The owners, Alex Berta and Chris Carpentier, who are also behind the vegan eatery Burrito Burrito, plan to eventually offer table service for indoor dining, as well as a more expansive dinner menu and full-service bar—the date is TBD.
