My Vegan Panda Opens February 2020 in Santa Ana

It all started with a few passionate foodies, a lot of culinary creativity, loads of hard work, and Orange Chicken. That’s right, we’re referring to the Asian-inspired dish from the pop-up, My Vegan Panda! To pay homage to his Cambodian heritage, Chef Skyler Tanksley of Munchies Diner took the lead and created Orange Chicken as a specialty menu item. What started out as a Munchies special spun off into an Asian-fusion vegan pop-up called My Vegan Panda. More and more menu items were deliciously crafted––including the eye-catching Ramen Burger that left every vegan Instagrammer shaking in their cruelty-free boots! So what’s the next move? A brick and mortar location for My Vegan Panda opening in Santa Ana this February!

More and more menu items were deliciously crafted––including the eye-catching Ramen Burger that left every vegan Instagrammer shaking in their cruelty-free boots! So what’s the next move? A brick and mortar location for My Vegan Panda opening in Santa Ana this February!

If the new location is anything like Munchies Diner, the Orange County vegan scene is in good hands! The diner is owned by one of the coolest #Vegangs out there who execute the wildest menu items they can dream up! From their Brunchwrap Supreme to Donut Burger, VcGriddle, Pizza Fries, and more, their dishes are outrageously tasty! Aside from their gluten-free Orange Chicken made of beer battered mushrooms and cauliflower, this new fast-casual Asian-inspired eatery will serve up burgers, bowls, sushi rolls, and more!

Their fresh crafted sushi will be rolled in house by head chef Adrian Chavez Garcia of Naughty Boy Sushi. Their burgers stray from the typical American flavors and pull inspiration from the herbs, spices, and flavors found on the streets all across Asia! What about the Ramen Burger? It’s an Asian beef patty, American cheese, Panda Sauce, spinach, and scallions in between Ramen Buns! This item is so lit you can’t even handle it on a weekday––it is available on weekends only! They plan to bring out other weekend specials with Chinese, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Japanese, and Filipino favorites with their special Panda twist!

Catch My Vegan Panda starting February 1st for their soft opening located in the heart of Downtown Santa Ana. It’s inside the iconic 4th street market, which is right around the corner from Munchies Diner! Are you thinking what we’re thinking? If you’re thinking of ordering the Ramen Burger for dinner and skkrtting over to Munchies to get a milkshake for dessert, then we’re on the same page!

My Vegan Panda will be open Sunday-Wednesday: 11am to 9pm, Thursday: 11am to 10pm, and Friday and Saturday: 11am to 11pm. They will be located at 201 E 4th Street, Santa Ana, CA (inside the 4th Street Market).
