Mayor Eric Garcetti Orders L.A. Restaurants and Bars to Close

In a live broadcast Sunday evening, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Grarcetti announced the required closure of all L.A. bars, restaurants, gyms, and entertainment venues to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Restaurants are allowed to maintain takeout and delivery services only, and grocery stores will remain open. The forced closure is to be in effect through March 31 (with possible extension).

In a live broadcast Sunday evening, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Grarcetti announced the required closure of all L.A. bars, restaurants, gyms, and entertainment venues to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Restaurants are allowed to maintain takeout and delivery services only, and grocery stores will remain open. The forced closure is to be in effect through March 31 (with possible extension).
