Matthew Kenney Cuisine (MKC) is launching a line of artisanal chocolates, just in time for Valentine’s Day!

This February, MKC, the plant-based lifestyle brand founded by celebrity chef, author, and wellness entrepreneur Matthew Kenney will launch Casse-Cou Chocolaterie, a boutique line of artisanal chocolates made in collaboration with Chef Sebastian Brecht. Casse-Cou offers a curated selection of innovative vegan sweets accented with botanical flavors and sustainably-sourced ingredients. The website, cassecouchocolate.com, will officially launch during the first week of February, and will begin accepting preorders for nationwide shipping on February 1, followed by the opening of Casse-Cou’s storefront in NYC’s East Village on February 8.

Casse-Cou will offer a variety of unique confections, including bonbons and bars with flavors like Pistachio Saffron Caramel, Maca Goji, and Black Current Yogurt, as well as a variety of chocolates such as pralines, ganaches, truffles, and chocolate bars.

The launch of Casse-Cou is just one of many Matthew Kenney Cuisine projects arriving this year, with the upcoming opening of Hungry Angelina in Brooklyn, the third location of Sestina in Philadelphia, and Purista in Costa Mesa, CA set to launch in the coming months.

The Casse-Cou storefront is located at 63 East 4th St. and will be open Monday-Sunday from noon-7pm.
