While the BAIA team is excited to serve San Francisco with plant-based Italian food, there is a strong demand for vegan sushi and Kenney intends to address it. Woodblock, a plant-based Japanese concept offering a select assortment of sushi rolls along with vegetables and bowls, will present innovative variations on traditional dishes. A few of the highlights include Asparagus Tempura,Truffle Explosion Roll (with cucumber, marinated shiitake mushrooms and truffle aioli), Spicy Tuna Roll (ahimi, cucumber, and avocado) and a Katsu Curry Bowl.
