Rhode Island just got its first all-vegan drive-thru, and here are the latest details!

This past January, Matthew Kenney and Rhode Island-based entrepreneur Kim Anderson opened Plant City X in Middletown, RI. Both Kenney and Anderson also own the all-vegan eatery Plant City in Providence and collaborated with the restaurant’s executive chef, Luis Jaramillo, to develop the menu for the new site.

“We opened Plant City X seven weeks ago in Middletown, RI to rave reviews, and are excited to build future locations, to deliver delicious sustainable plant-based food to as many people as possible. This drive-thru model is an easier model to replicate than the much larger food hall model of our original location,” Anderson told VegOut.

Popular menu items at Plant City X include the “Chik” Sandwich, X Burger, “Chik” Nuggets with X Sauce, Buffalo Mac & Cheese, X-treme Fries, Chocolate Shakes, and Fro-yo Parfaits. For March, the eatery is also offering a special Shamrock Shake.

For more details on Plant City X, check them out at plantcityx.com or download their app for curbside pickup and delivery.
