The famed vegan fried chicken food truck caught on fire last night and owners Eva Cannon and Will Perrymon launched a GoFundMe to raise money for a new truck, or brick-and-mortar location.

The Instagram post that went up this morning on Lettuce Feast’s page has already received over 4,500 likes and they’ve raised $15,980 (at the time of publication) toward their $150,000 goal. In the post, Eva and Will express “We never even planned to show ourselves, we always wanted the food to be the highlight of this business. It’s unbelievably difficult for us to ask for help as we try not to bother anyone with our issues, but at this point there is a lot out of our control.” Lettuce Feast has a second truck that will run as normally scheduled for the time being.
