Burgerlords just reopened as a fully-vegan restaurant! This classic California-inspired burger joint first opened in the heart of Chinatown back in 2015. Burgerlords quickly became a fan-favorite for Angelenos and tourists alike which led to the opening of their second location in Highland Park last year. The founders’ initial vision behind creating Burgerlords was to “reinvent what a burger restaurant can be for new generations, with the support of the local community.” And that’s exactly what they’re doing by transitioning to a 100% vegan menu!

If you’ve been to Burgerlords before, you would know that they already had stellar vegan options on their original menu—veggie burgers, fries, vegan milkshakes, and their tasty tofu nuggets. On their revamped menu, you can expect to see those drool-worthy items alongside some new dishes as well.
The new menu features a Buffalo Ranch Tofu Burger (a crispy battered tofu patty with Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Sauce, house-made vegan ranch, and carrot celery slaw on a sponge bun), a Sourdough Garlic Melt (their original vegan patty, Follow Your Heart cheese, grilled onions, garlic oil, and their 2,000 Island dressing on rustic sourdough), The Brainburner (a spicy new burger collab with the streetwear clothing brand, Braindead), and last but certainly not least, dessert! Burgerlords offers custom tahini milkshakes in Original, Chocolate, Stumptown Coffee, and Strawberry Shortcake flavors. Are you hungry now?
Burgerlords will launch their new fully-vegan menu this Thursday, July 16th. Both locations are open for walk-up service and delivery. “We’re happy to be able to keep feeding people through it all,” shared the Burgerlords team.
