In Los Angeles and cities across the country, drive-in movies have experienced a grand resurrection. Born out of nostalgia and necessity, the LA County Park agency has extended these socially distant public events through October 3, and beginning this month, Planterra Foods will hand out free plant-based burgers to drive-in patrons. The company is using the platform to launch its new OZO protein—a completely vegan product that is cholesterol-free and lower in calories and fat than 80% lean ground beef. Specialty-designed OZO vans will be onsite with OZO ambassadors safely handing out freshly grilled plant-based burgers.
