Kroger Launches 50+ New Plant-Based Products
Kroger’s own brand, natural and organic line Simple Truth, is massively expanding its Simple Truth Plant Based Collection through 2020. The company promised to launch 50+ new plant-based products by the end of the year starting with its Emerge Chick’n patties and grinds. The new products are an extension of the already successful line of vegan-friendly items that includes vegan chocolate chip cookie dough, oat milk, non-dairy sour cream, and plant-based meats.

In addition to the new plant-based chick’n products, customers will soon see oat milk ice creams, non-dairy cheeses, almond milk yogurts, and vegan-friendly dressings on the Kroger shelves.
Brad Studer, senior director of Our Brands, said, "We believe that everyone deserves to have access to fresh, affordable and delicious food, no matter who you are, how you shop or what you like to eat, and we will continue to innovate and inspire our selection of products to deliver on that very promise for our customers."
A wide array of regional supermarkets fall under the Kroger brand including Ralphs, Dillon’s, Smith’s, Fry’s, City Market, Harris Teeter, Metro Market, Pick ‘n Save, and more.
