Krimsey’s to Open Vegan Po’ Boy Shop in Silver Lake
Krimsey’s Cajun Kitchen is bringing their plant-based po’ boys to Silver Lake! If you haven’t had the pleasure of traveling up to North Hollywood for this Louisiana-inspired eatery, you are missing out! Hushpuppies, Jambalaya, Gumbo, or whatever other dish comes to mind when you think of “Cajun” is on their menu! One of Krimsey’s most namely New Orleans noms is a po’ boy sandwich––it’s so good, they’re opening up an entire sub shop dedicated to making them!
Krimsey Ramsey is the Baton-Rouge beauty behind the vegan voodoo magic! Ramsey shared that the restaurants expansion comes from a desire to expose new people to a vegan lifestyle and increase the company's positive community impact, from their Krewe (that’s their staff nickname) all the way to select charitable organizations, such as the Trevor Project (that receives a portion of the sales from their Rainbow Pride Po' boy.)
You may be wondering, “are there only sandwiches on the menu?” No! The sub shop’s menu features a fun diversification of fare with a Baton Rouge flair! Aside from their perfect plethora of po' boy’s, you’ll discover Hush Puppies, Fried Pickles, Beignets. Cajun Potato Wedges, and more! With the same consistency and quality of service by their Krewe, this sando spot will just be a bit more quick and casual! It’s your hot and new lunch break pit stop!
