Entertainer Kevin Smith’s fictional fast food chain, Mooby’s, became a limited-run reality on April 19. For two weeks, the vegan-friendly pop-up offered its Mooby’s Meal for pickup and delivery—consequently crashing Postmates twice. Following the go-ahead for restaurants to resume dine-in service, Mooby’s reopened its doors in West Hollywood on June 19. Customers must order their “Interactive Meal Experience” ahead and are encouraged to do so days in advance, as the pickup times are limited.

The inclusive experience is priced at $30 per person and includes a Mooby’s Meal, photo opportunities with Kevin Smith film memorabilia, and exclusive access to a Mooby’s-themed retail shop. The entire proceeds of its opening weekend were donated to Clean Up South Central—a Los Angeles nonprofit geared toward the betterment of communities by street clean-ups and community service. Moving forward, one hundred percent of the proceeds from the Mooby’s Social Distancing shirts will also be donated.
All Mooby’s Meals include a Mooby’s Main and a Salt Lick Side. Beverages and desserts such as the Spiked Capri Sun and iconic chocolate-covered pretzels may be added at an additional cost. Vegan mains include the Beyond Meat Cow Tipper Burger, Beyond Sausage Patti Egga-Mooby Muffin, and the Lasagna Sandwich Reboot.
Mooby’s will be in operation through July, though the official closing date of this pop-up has yet to be announced. Tickets can be purchased here and orders can be picked up from noon-7pm Tuesday-Sunday.
