Partake Foods launches their vegan and gluten-free cookies in over 1,600 Target stores nationwide. Founder, Denise Woodard, became the first black woman to raise over $1 million for a food start-up company in 2019 when Jay-Z invested in her business.

Partake Foods was inspired by an allergic reaction Denise’s daughter, Vivienne, had to a product containing corn and the lack of healthy allergen-free products on the shelf. Denise states on her website that “Making allergy-friendly, healthy snacks (from scratch) for my daughter was hard work, but I refused to give up or give in—and Partake Foods was born.” The brand is free of the top eight allergens and ideal for kids or adults with food allergies.

Partake Foods cookies can now be purchased at Target stores across the nation. Check out the store locator on partakefoods.com to find your nearest location.
