Jaden Smith Opens Free Vegan Food Truck for L.A.’s Homeless

Twenty one years into life and Jaden Smith has starred in blockbuster movies, embarked on world tours, jump started a massive water company, and invested heavily into goodhearted charities, which sets the bar pretty high for someone who’s barely old enough to drink. His latest endeavor combines his previous charity work with his passion for vegan food (don’t tell us you missed Jaden’s Impossible Sliders at Umami Burger).

Last week, Smith hit the streets of Skid Row with his new, all-vegan food truck, I Love You, which handed out free vegan meals to the homeless. Aligning with his strategy for spontaneous album drops, Jaden announced zero details prior to the food truck’s grand reveal, shocking the internet with its powerful release. While Smith made it clear there’ll be more appearances from I Love You in the near future, it’s still unclear what the menu you will look like, if they’ll have a regular schedule, and whether or not all the food will be for charity. No matter the case, we’re ecstatic to see someone with an immense grip on pop culture uplifting communities in need and crossing the boundaries between artist, entrepreneur, and an all-around leader.

We’ll keep you updated on I Love You’s next moves as the details come in!
