Impossible Foods first entered into the retail world a little less than a year ago with the launch of their products at select grocery stores including Albertsons, Fred Meyer, Gelson’s, H-E-B, Kroger, Safeway, Stop & Shop, and Wegmans. While the Impossible Burger was more accessible to everyday consumers, the product was only available at these stores in a handful of states. With the continuation of their rapid retail expansion, this plant-based powerhouse of a company has now announced the news that their Impossible Burger will be available at Trader Joe’s nationwide.
“We plan to expand our retail presence 50X in 2020 alone and to make the Impossible Burger accessible wherever Americans go grocery shopping,” said Impossible Foods’ President Dennis Woodside. “We’re particularly excited about the launch of Impossible at Trader Joe’s, a beloved institution with die-hard fans and a company known particularly for its great meat, cheese and wine selection.”
Impossible Foods will start rolling out their burger patties at Trader Joe’s as soon as today, so keep an eye out. Don’t forget to grab the new Trader Joe’s Vegan Cheddar Style Slices and your favorite burger fixings while you're there!
