Habit Cosmetics Launches Three Nail Polish Shades to Support Communities of Color
This cruelty-free company is giving back to the community through their new color collection!
On Monday, March 1, the woman-owned brand Habit Cosmetics will launch 14 new nail polish colors—3 of which have been created in collaboration with up-and-coming artists Lauren Halsey, Alake Shilling, and Kezia Harrell. As part of their mission to give back to the community, the brand will contribute 40% of retail sales from these three shades to women and communities of color.
Colors will include “Bop Bop!” co-created by Lauren Halsey (40% of retail sales from this color will benefit Downtown Crenshaw), “Jolly Green Bean” co-created by Alake Shilling (40% of retail sales from this color will benefit Summaeverythang Community Center), and “Let’s Call it a Chartreuse” co-created by Kezia Harrell (40% of retail sales from this color will benefit the artist).
In addition to nail polish, Habit Cosmetics also offers multi-use vegan lip, eye, and cheek creme-based colors as well as highlighters.
