Founder of Juice Press Opens New Plant-Based Concept in NYC This Thursday
Get your daily dose of wellness at NYC’s newest plant-based concept!
This Thursday, Marcus Antebi—founder of the popular juice and salad spot Juice Press—opens a new plant-based eatery called goodsugar. The restaurant will focus on eliminating single-use plastic, and products will be sold in reusable containers that can be returned for loyalty points.
The all-vegan eatery will offer the freshest organic vegan cooked foods, hot soups, fresh salads, and baked goods (free of gluten and refined sugars). In addition, goodsugar plans to feature a shot flight bar with fresh juices and herbal elixirs.
goodsugar is operating inside the Kollectiv, an urban retreat center in Manhattan’s East Village, which features an herbal pharmacy and healing spa (infrared saunas, cryotherapy, reiki, and myofascial massages).
Prior to opening Juice Press and goodsugar, Marcus was a competitive Thai boxer and professional skydiver. He has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, W Magazine, WWD, GQ, Coveteur, and Forbes. He is the co-host of the goodsugar podcast and just completed his second book, The goodsugar Diet.
