Flore Vegan to Remain Open, Moving to New Location

Silver Lake's Flore Vegan Cuisine, a neighborhood staple since 2007, has overturned its decision to shutter its doors. While a 30-day notice to vacate originally caused the owner to consider closing for good, the community rallied and raised both hope and potential for the business to plow ahead.

Silver Lake's Flore Vegan Cuisine, a neighborhood staple since 2007, has overturned its decision to shutter its doors. While a 30-day notice to vacate originally caused the owner to consider closing for good, the community rallied and raised both hope and potential for the business to plow ahead.

Founder Miranda Megill has been offered the opportunity to rent another restaurant space in Silver Lake, and she has decided to relocate rather than close up shop. The current location will be in operation until January 31, and the business will transition to the new location in February. To donate to the moving costs, visit Megill's "Help Relocate Flore Vegan Silver Lake" on GoFundMe.
