F.A.K.E. Movement Launches First 3D Vegan Fashion Event and You’re Invited

On May 15, the world’s first immersive 3D vegan fashion event will debut online to make vegan, sustainable, and small business-led fashion accessible with the click of a mouse. Curated by Fashion for Animal Kingdom and the Environment (F.A.K.E.), the virtual event is the most robust and realistic experience vegan fashion has seen outside of in-person attendance. Coined the F.A.K.E. Universe, the free event is a direct response to the social distancing measures that have been put in place over the past year. By going virtual, F.A.K.E. hopes to promote these conscious businesses while keeping everyone safe.

F.A.K.E. founder, Jonathan Ohayon, explained, “This venue is nothing like our movement has seen before. The F.A.K.E Universe is going to be the closest experience to meeting in real life in the midst of a global pandemic, which we have all been missing.”

Consumers can participate in a number of ways—from pursuing the F.A.K.E. Marketplace featuring ethical brands from around the world to peeking in the F.A.K.E. Museum housing art produced by established and up-and-coming conscious content creators. Through this immersive experience, participants will have the opportunity to chat with designers, sign up for exclusive brand discounts, and even order food from local vegan restaurants, courtesy of the HappyCow collaboration. Those looking to participate in a more passive way can mosey into the F.A.K.E. Conference room and listen to one of the speakers, including award-winning fashion designer Soreyda Benedit-Begleey, activist Ryuji Chua, and Beyond Leather founder Hannah Michaud.

All participants will also receive a virtual goody bag upon entering the F.A.K.E. Universe. Click here to attend beginning May 15.
