Guacamaya Oasis is a fresh and flavorful Mexican food joint in Downey that has been serving solid vegan options since their opening in 2018. While vegan options are great to have, there’s nothing we love more than a 100% vegan menu! Guacamaya listened to us veggie-lovers and granted our wish by transitioning to an entirely plant-based menu. What a time to be alive!
From breakfast burritos and crunch wraps to pozole, tortas, and build your own salads, they have something for everyone. For sips, they have horchata, agua frescas, smoothies, and even a juice bar. All of their ingredients are fresh, and now, totally vegan!
With this announcement, Guacamaya shared they felt the need to move in a more positive and delicious direction, resulting in their all-vegan menu with new plant-based protein options. Jackfruit Barbacoa, Beyond Meat Ground Beef, Seasoned Chik’n, and Mushroom Carnitas are just a few options that you can pack into a burrito, bowl, or pile on a bed of nachos.
