Amanda Cohen, chef and owner of vegetarian restaurant Dirt Candy, just opened an all-vegan spot called Lekka Burger. Lekka Burger features a straightforward menu of made-from-scratch plant-based burgers, fries, milkshakes, and soft serve.
Burgers range from a classic cheeseburger, deemed the Lekka Cheeseburger, to the Masala Burger—herb mayo, curry tamarind ketchup, pappadum, lettuce, tomato, and onion. For customers seeking a gluten-free option, Lekka offers the option to order any burger in a lettuce cup instead of bun. The restaurant also serves beer, wine, and cocktails.
Lekka Burger is located at 81 Warren St and is open Monday-Saturday 11am-10pm.
