Copper Branch Debuts Vegan JUST Egg and Field Roast Breakfast Sandwich
Fresh on the heels of the new Peet’s Coffee Plant-Based Breakfast Sandwich, all-day cafe Copper Branch launched a gluten-free, high-protein vegan bagel sandwich. Coined The Ultimate Bagel Sandwich, the new item reflects extended partnerships with Field Roast and JUST Egg. The handheld includes a gluten-free, sesame-studded pumpernickel bagel, Field Roast sausage round, JUST Egg patty, signature Copper Sauce, hash browns, smoky tempeh bacon, lettuce, and tomato. This sandwich joins the lineup of simpler bagel sandwiches on the recently revived all-day breakfast menu.
Copper Branch is a plant-based chain with locations in Western Canada, Nashville, and the US Northeast. The menu ranges from power bowls to burgers to soup, salad, and sandwiches. While JUST Egg can be found in many of the restaurant’s menu items, this is a first for Field Roast. The kitchen tends to rely on less processed plant proteins such as tofu, tempeh, and homemade veggie burgers.
