Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s Introduce New Beyond Meat All Day Menu Items

Carl’s Jr. will be expanding their partnership with Beyond Meat, introducing new plant-based options available all day—during breakfast, lunch, and dinner—at Carl’s Jr. locations nationwide, and now also Hardee’s locations nationwide.

Carl’s Jr. will be expanding their partnership with Beyond Meat, introducing new plant-based options available all day—during breakfast, lunch, and dinner—at Carl’s Jr. locations nationwide, and now also Hardee’s locations nationwide.

The all-day expansion comes after the success of Carl’s Jr.’s partnership with Beyond Meat, through which they launched their two takes on the Beyond Burger—their Beyond Famous Star and their Beyond BBQ Cheeseburger. Carl’s Jr. has seen a significant increase in new customers because of these items.

“Since its debut less than a year ago, Carl’s Jr. has sold more than 6.7 million Beyond Famous Star burgers to-date, making it the most successful product launch in the past two years. We’re continuing to build on this success by expanding our Beyond Meat partnership to Hardee’s,” said Patty Trevino, Senior Vice President, Brand Marketing at CKE Restaurants.

The new options at Carl’s Jr. include the Beyond Sausage Burrito and Beyond Sausage Egg & Cheese Biscuit. The new options at Hardee’s also include the Beyond Sausage Burrito and Beyond Sausage Biscuit, as well as the Beyond Sausage & Egg Biscuit and Original Beyond Thickburger. The burritos and Thickburger can easily be made vegan.

The Beyond Sausage Burrito at Carl’s Jr. includes a Beyond Breakfast Sausage patty, scrambled egg, dairy cheese, hashbrowns, tomatoes, and fresh salsa in a tortilla, and can be made vegan by omitting the egg and cheese. At Hardee’s, the Beyond Sausage Burrito similarly features a Beyond Sausage patty, eggs, dairy cheese, and hashbrowns on a tortilla, and also can be made vegan by omitting the egg and cheese. Their Original Beyond Thickburger features a Beyond Burger patty topped with dairy cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, dill pickles, ketchup, mustard, and dairy mayo on bun. It can be made vegan by requesting no cheese and no mayo.

The new menu additions are already available at Carl’s Jr. locations, and are available starting December 30 at Hardee’s locations.
