Blue Sushi Sake Grill Adds 3 New Vegan Rolls to Their Menu
Vegan-friendly chain Blue Sushi Sake Grill just added three new vegan rolls to their extensive vegan menu.
Blue Sushi Sake Grill already had over 10 innovative vegan options on their menu, including our favorite, the Shiitake to Me vegan maki—mushrooms sautéed in coconut milk, shiitake and sweet potato vegan tempura, truffle oil, thai basil, and sweet soy sauce. They also have vegan nigiri options with ahimi (a tomato tuna), inari (fried tofu), and masago caviart (an innovative seaweed-based vegan caviar).
The three new vegan rolls—Unami Express, Unami Maki, and Vegan South Pacific—are filled with ingredients such as bbq eggplant eel, vegan cream cheese, pineapple, and masago caviart.
Blue Sushi Sake Grill goes beyond the typical avocado or cucumber roll. The vegan menu is full of flavor, so much so that non-vegans have been known to order a roll or two. All rolls can be customized with the option of soy paper or nori. Want brown rice? Gluten-free? They’ve got you covered!
