Plant-based meat brand Beyond Meat recently announced that they will be donating and distributing over one million Beyond Burgers to food banks, frontline workers, and organizations in need as a part of their new campaign called Feed A Million+.

“Our goal has always been to use food as a vehicle for change and we’re fortunate to be in a position to put that into action now like never before,” Beyond Meat announced on social media. “Our hope is that this donation will help make lives easier and contribute to the strong sense of community that is so vitally important during these unprecedented times.”

They will be donating the burgers via operational outposts in Los Angeles and New York, which they also note will help recreate jobs. The meals will be delivered by DoorDash free of charge.
