Taco Tuesday just got a whole lot better, as a fully plant-based taco shop has become the newest addition to Atlanta’s vegan food scene!

Chi Chi Vegan hails as Atlanta’s first all-vegan taqueria, offering a variety of tacos like Al Pastor with Pineapple (vegan al pastor, pineapple, guac, cilantro, and onion) and Philly Cheesesteak (vegan steak, grilled peppers and onions, cheese, and crema), as well as entrees such as the Chick’n Quesadilla (vegan chick’n, cheese, peppers and onions, corn salad, guac, and crema), and the Epic Nachos (tortilla chips, vegan beef, queso, beans, Chi Chi Sauce, crema, corn salad, and guac). Traditional Mexican drinks are also available, including Mexican Coke, Jarritos, and Mangonada.

“I opened Chi Chi as a solution to a problem I was experiencing in my local community. It became difficult for me to find quick-service non-dairy options. I purposely created the menu to be quick, simple, and flavorful,” the owner, Christin Hodge, told VegOut.

While takeout and delivery options are available, patrons can also opt to dine in the restaurant’s 20-seat dining room. The eatery is currently open for lunch and dinner with plans to add breakfast, brunch, and baked goods to the menu in the near future.
