Art Of Dosa opens In Chicago Revival Food Hall! Ravi Nagubadi, founder and owner of the all-vegan South Indian restaurant and fixture on the Chicago food festival scene for years, brings the meals that built his strong loyal following to a brick and mortar establishment in The Loop!
Dosa, a high protein dish similar to a crepe, is made of fermented rice and lentils and traditionally served with piping hot lentil soup-sambar, spicy potato masala and creamy coconut chutney.
Nagubadi’s vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free menu melds authentic South Indian culture with fusion dishes such as the 65 Dosa Wrap (plant protein, shredded cabbage, microgreens, and curry leaf mayo) and the Ramen Dosa Wrap (“katsu” plant protein, kimchi, GF ramen with sriracha mayo, and black gunpowder). He also offers up classics such as the Masala Dosa, Idli and Uthappam.
Order a classic Indian chai or lassi, and be sure to finish off your meal with coconut milk based ice cream (with an Indian twist!), available in 15 flavors including South Indian Coffee, Chai, Spicy Orange and classic Vanilla Bean. Too full? Take home a pint!
Art of Dosa is located at Revival Food Hall, 125 S Clark St, Chicago, IL 60603 and open Monday-Friday 10:30am-7pm.
