This SoCal-based ice cream shop recently shared this rockin’ news on their Instagram page with the statement, “We promised ourselves: If we're going to make plant-based ice cream, we're going to do it right. That time has come. We didn't make vegan ice cream. We didn't make plant-based ice cream. We made ice cream. Periodt. It just happens to be plant-based.”
Starting this Sunday, July 19th, Afters Ice Cream’s new vegan flavors of Chocolate Chip Cookie and Java Chip will be available at all 28 locations. Both variations use Eclipse Foods’s plant-based ice cream, made from a blend of oat, corn, potato, cassava, canola oil, and cane sugar. The Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough option features a cookie dough-flavored ice cream base with Afters plant-based chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chips, and a chocolate swirl––YUM! The Java Chip option is made from an espresso-flavored ice cream base with chocolate chips! Get it in a cup or stuffed and sealed between their Vegan Milky Bun!
But wait, there’s more! For their launch this Sunday, Afters Ice Cream will be giving away a free scoop of either of their plant-based flavors with any takeout purchase while supplies last. Limit 1 free scoop per customer. All locations are participating.
