The Black-owned vegan food brand just launched limited-edition Creole Red Beans in honor of Black History Month.

A Dozen Cousins is known for their flavorful pre-cooked and seasoned beans inspired by traditional African American, Creole, and Latin American recipes. From Cuban Black Beans and Trini Chickpea Curry to Mexican Cowboy Pinto Beans and Refried Beans, each nutrient-dense variety is 100% vegan, non-GMO, and packed with fiber.

To celebrate Black History Month, the plant-based bean brand released a Creole Red Bean flavor for a limited time. The Louisiana-style beans are simmered with bell peppers and spices that will transport your taste buds to New Orleans! The brand’s African American founder and CEO, Ibraheem Basir, shared that on a personal note he is very excited about this limited edition launch to celebrate his mother’s native Southern cooking and her famous red beans & rice, in addition to continuing to celebrate and remember Black history.

A Dozen Cousins’s Creole Red Beans can be purchased in an eight-pack online at ADozenCousins.com or on Amazon, while supplies last.
