Second-to-Last Weekend of Cocobella’s Brunch
You won’t be able to order your vegan Grand Slam for much longer—this fantastic diner-style weekend brunch menu is going on hiatus as of March 1. Might as well get those fluffy pancakes a la mode; it is an ice cream shop after all.
Cooking Class at SunCafe
Fallen a bit of the healthy eating resolution wagon? Get back on track with this “Magic of Greens” themed cooking class. Follow Chef Ron Russell as he leads you through Green Dip, Creamy Spinach Soup, Morrocan Kale Chard Chickpea Stew, and Southern Greens.
Word of Mouth Food Truck at MooShoes
From 12-5pm, grab some Mac and Cheese Bites or a straight-from-the-griddle Munchwrap after scoring a new pair of vegan leather shoes or trendy Matt & Nat bag at this all-vegan shoe and accessory shop. Don’t forget to say hello to the friendly resident cat!
Long Beach Vegan Social
This regular free community event returns to the Hawk Bar for an afternoon of vegan eats, drinks, and live music. Stop by from 12-5pm to get your fill of Chicana Vegana, The Donuttery, Vegan Jam, Veggietize Me, and more.

Say Cheese: A Raw Vegan Workshop
Once you learn how to make your own vegan cheese, you’ll never go the store-bought route again. This hands-on workshop will provide basic recipes and instructions then let you play to invent your own vegan cheese flavors. And yes, nibbling is encouraged. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.
For some, a weekend is not complete without a trip to Smorgasburg. Indulge in your vegan favorites such as Cena Vegan, Madame Shugah, or try the new and vegan-friendly Burmese Please.
