Where to Celebrate the Super Bowl Vegan-Style in Los Angeles

The Super Bowl is Sunday February 3, and with the LA Rams competing in the big game, we’re sure a lot of you are going to try to tune in. So whether you’re looking for somewhere to go to catch this game while getting to enjoy vegan-friendly food or you’re searching for places to pick up vegan food for your party, here are 10 of the happenings, specials, and spots in the area that will help you celebrate the day and be prepared by kickoff at 3:30pm PST.

Smorgasburg LA’s Super Vegan Sunday – POSTPONED

DTLA

Smorgasburg LA and Eat Drink Vegan are teaming up for the 2nd annual Super Vegan Sunday. The market will be 100% vegan that day and feature loads of plant-based options from their regular vegan vendors, plus vegan specials from their usual non-vegan vendors. Swing on by from 10am-4pm before the Super Bowl starts.

Beelman’s

DTLA

Head to watch the game completely-plant-based pub Beelman’s on Sunday, where Chef Caroline will be cooking up Super Bowl specials, like sloppy chili dogs, sloppy chili Impossible burgers, chili “steak” fries, and chili tots with gooey cashew cheese. They’ll also be offering $4 Rosé, $4 Mimosas, and select $4 brews.

Broxton

This vegan-friendly spot will be offering a special Game Day menu, which features select $9 food items.

Cinnaholic

Brea, Corona, Echo Park, and Tustin

Looking for vegan desserts for the big game? Then why not call up Cinnaholic for vegan cinnamon rolls galore? You can order them by the dozen or place an order for their Baby Buns—bite-sized and perfect for parties.

Mohawk Bend

Echo Park

Mostly-vegan Mohawk Bend will not only have all of 8 of their TVs and giant projection screen streaming the game, but they’ll also be offering specials like 2 chili dogs & tots for $12 (vegan option) & $2 off New Original Brewery brews.

Sage Plant Based Bistro

Culver City, Echo Park, and Pasadena

Check out Sage if you need some plant-based catering for your Super Bowl party. They’re deal for Sunday is a half tray of Buffalo Cauliflower and 3 pizzas for $75. With three flavors of fried cauliflower—spicy, BBQ, and sweet & sour, and a variety of pizza options, you’re sure to find the perfect matches for your game day gang.

The Stalking Horse Brewery & Freehouse

West LA

On Super Bowl Sunday, this brewpub is offering $4 drafts, a $10 burger (vegan options) + beer combo, plus more.

Tocaya Organica

Various Locations

This vegan-friendly fresh-casual Mexican chain has your back for your game day parties. Their Super Bowl Game Day Catering allows you to choose from a variety of ‘build your own’ bowl or taco bar options with the choice of opting for the vegan options. Order at least 24 hours prior to Sunday and have your order delivered or pick it up.

Tony’s Darts Away

Burbank

The local vegan-friendly spot will be showing the Super Bowl game and offering two additional flavors of their signature vegan wings, sweet teriyaki and habanero for $10, in addition to their traditional flavors like BBQ and buffalo sauce.

Veggie Grill

Various Locations

Veggie Grill is always a great option and you can score big with their Game Day Party Feast—4 VG Beyond Burgers and Crispy Fries, Buffalo Wings (12 wings), Mondo Nachos (2 servings), and a Crudite Plate with Flatbread and hummus. Orders must be placed online at veggiegrill.com/gameday and are available for pick-up at all Southern California locations on Sunday between 11am and 2pm.
