8 Vegan Valentine’s Day Specials in Chicago
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and we’re looking forward to the special vegan menus! Here are eight spots to pick up vegan Valentine’s Day dinner and treats in Chicago.
Celebrate with the Valentine’s Chocolate menu from ALTHEA. Priced at $55 per person, it boasts hearts of palm ceviche (white chocolate salsa verde, romaine, tortilla crisps), beet and chestnut gnocchi (cacao nib pesto, Castelvetrano olives, rainbow carrots), and more. And to end the night, a decadent truffle slice (hazelnut, dark cherry, caramelized white chocolate, and balsamic).
This vegan pop-up is offering a Love Box for two containing six tacos, Mexican-style corn, Takis elote, and strawberry horchata for $55. Pre-order for pickup at Workshop Apothecary on February 12th. Quantities are limited and will sell out, so check out their menu for your taco fix!
Spirit Elephant’s romantic dinner for two consists of delicata croquettes, board de fromages, bechamel scallop-ini, and lover’s chocolate cake! The prix fixe menu is available February 12th, 13th, and 14th.
Celebrate the night with vegan lasagna! The Lasagna Extravaganza Dinner for one is priced at $25 and includes a main course, a side of roasted Brussels tossed in vegan caper aioli, and garlic bread. The vegan option is clearly labeled and available for pre-order now. We suggest you finish off your meal with a vegan oatmeal cream pie or two!
Herbivore is dropping their Valentine’s Day special this week and pasta lovers rejoice—vegan rigatoni alla vodka (with Italian sausage and peas, topped with goat cheese) made it on the menu! Follow them on Instagram for updates and pickup details.
Pink Pastel is a woman-owned pop-up bakery offering classic Mexican veganized treats—and corazón churros, corazón conchas, heart polvorones, and corazoncito tres leches cake are all available for Valentine ‘s Day. Get your orders in before February 10th!
Pre-order some donuts for breakfast. The Valentine’s Day six-pack includes Raised Hearts, Chocolate-Covered for Greta (a strawberry shortcake donut), and our favorite—Kindness—a classic sprinkle donut. Choose pickup or delivery for February 13th or 14th.
Pie, Pie My Darling will open for pre-orders from a set Valentine’s Day menu on February 8th at 6pm. A limited amount of cookies, baby cakes, and treats will be offered. They will definitely sell out so set an alarm to snag some goodies for pickup on February 13th.
