10 Vegan Super Bowl Specials in Los Angeles
Don’t go hungry watching the big game! These ten spots have you covered with plant-based eats.
Culver City and DTLA
Mexican fast casual restaurant Chicas Tacos will be highlighting their Fiesta Box for Super Bowl Sunday, as well as offering other menu items. Their Fiesta Box feeds from 10-60 people and offers your choice of two types of tacos, as well as a salsa bar that includes tomatillo, salsa, morrita salsa, and chips. For vegan tacos, make sure to select their Cauliflower & Mushroom and their Jackfruit Tacos. Orders must be placed at least 24 hours in advance.
Echo Park, Brea, Corona, and Tustin
For dessert options, check out all-vegan Cinnaholic’s party box, which includes 12 baby cinnamon buns with frosting, 12 mini cookies, and 12 brownie bites.
For a wide variety of catering choices, head to Erewhon where they have a wide selection of vegan salads, entrees, sides, soups, desserts, sushi, and plenty more. Erewhon isˇ perfect for your party needs.
For the Super Bowl, this plant-based burger and pizza spot will be offering a 24-inch cheese pizza with choice of two free toppings when you pre-order only.
Costa Mesa, Long Beach, and South Coast Plaza
Looking for something a bit different from typical game day food? Seabirds offers a unique variety of party trays in both small (10 people) and large (20 people) sizes, including a grilled cheese platter (comes with tomato soup), enchilada platter, taqueria platter (three different tacos and purple potato taquitos), seasonal salads, and sides—Brussels sprouts, black beans, and brown rice.
Looking for somewhere to go before the big game? From 10am-4pm on Super Bowl Sunday, head to weekly food fest Smorgasburg for their 3rd Annual Super Vegan Sunday, where their vendors will have a ton of vegan specials for the day. You’ll also be able to enjoy the preshow from their family-friendly beer garden.
The Stalking Horse
Looking for a pub to watch the big game? Check out The Stalking Horse! They’ll be showing the game on their projector screen and offering beer pitchers for $16. Plus, their menu offers loads of vegan-friendly options that are sure to satisfy.
Tony’s Darts Away
Another spot to watch the game (with sound!) is Tony’s Darts Away. You can also enjoy board games and two vegan-friendly food specials. The first is their Tailgate Totchos, which feature tater tots loaded with cashew nacho cheese, pico de gallo, green chilis and vegan or non-vegan shredded cheddar—obviously choose vegan and you’re good to go. The second vegan option is their What the Guac? Burger, which is vegan when opting for Impossible patties (they’re topped with guacamole, vegan provolone, chipotle aioli, greens, tomato, onion, and tortilla strips, and served on a vegan brioche bun, with a side of house chips).
Check out Veggie Grill’s catering options, which include game day favorites, like wing trays, chips, salsa, a guacamole bundle, and a crudites and flatbread platter. They also offer salads, burger boxes, and more.
Grab snacks, sides, meals, party platters, and more at your local Whole Foods. From falafel and hummus trays to sandwiches, sushi, and desserts, there are plenty of vegan catering options to choose from.
